Jonnatan Fajardo Awarded $10,000 Doctoral Scholarship from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation selected Jonnatan Fajardo as the 2024 $10,000 Foundation Scholarship winner. Jonnatan said, “I am incredibly honored to receive the 2024 Commission on Dietetic Registration Doctoral Scholarship, which will significantly support my research in global nutrition. This generous scholarship has already allowed me to attend the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo (FNCE), where I was able to connect with leading experts and gain valuable insights that will enhance my research. Additionally, it will enable me to attend future nutrition conferences and purchase the necessary equipment to complete my dissertation by June 2025. Ultimately, this scholarship is life-changing, as it allows me to dedicate more time to my work investigating the effects of maternal nutrition on child growth and development, and to contribute valuable findings to the growing body of nutrition research aimed at improving health outcomes worldwide.”
