  • Global public health nutrition, particularly micronutrient nutrition and protein-energy malnutrition and estimation of health loss attributable to diet related non-communicable diseases
  • Leads the modeling of micronutrient deficiencies and their attributable health loss, as well as the modeling of causes of death due to protein-energy malnutrition in the global burden of diseases project
  • Co-leads the estimation of health loss resulting from diet-related noncommunicable diseases
  • Interested in the estimation of the health care and economic cost of micronutrient deficiencies and dietary risk factors
