Jenny Tan

Jenny has been the Data Analyst of the Institute for Global Nutrition since 2018, supporting research studies by managing, validating, and analyzing complex datasets. She leverages her expertise to ensure data quality, generate insightful reports, and collaborate with researchers and external investigators to enhance integrity and operational efficiency. 

Jenny brings a background in computer science and statistics, interfaced with a variety of software such as R, Stata, SAS, and Python. She has extensive experience working with dietary assessment data, clinical measures, and survey-based datasets, having contributed to comprehensive analysis and developed figures and tables for publication and presentations. Jenny values the importance of producing work that not only meets high standards but is also accessible and impactful; and has participated in relevant professional training and workshops in statistics to stay current with analytical methods and best data practices.
